Biofuels Digest Index advances to 92.70 as Solazyme, Rentech soar

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 0.70 percent to 92.70 as Solazyme (SZYM) and Rentech led an advanced biofuels rally. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) advanced 0.62 percent to $32.41, while Solazyme (SZYM) soared another 8.79 percent to $22.53 on its second day of trading. Among other equities, Rentech (RTK) jumped 8.33 percent to $1.04. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
