Biofuels Digest Index drops to 88.51 as markets weaken on recessionary fears

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, shed 1.10 percent to 88.51 on a dismal day for renewables.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 1.26 percent to $29.75, while Biofuel Energy (BIOF) fell 5.36 percent to $0.53. Among other equities, Mission New Energy (MNEL) fell 11.36 percent to $5.46. declines led advances 7 to 1 for the day.
