Biofuels Digest Index drops to 84.79 as advanced bio weakens

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 0.24 percent to 84.79 as the Index continues to fall on fears of sector and global economic weakness. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) rebounded 1.09 percent to $29.62, while Amyris (AMRS) fell 2.39 percent to $29.40. Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) dropped 3.31 percent to $14.3.  Declines led advances 13 to 12 for the day.
