Biofuels Digest Index surges to 87.73 as advanced bio soars

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, jumped 1.68 percent to 87.73 as advanced biofuels surged. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 0.53 percent to $30.15, while Solazyme (SZYM) soared 5.42 percent to $22.97. Among other equities, Mission New Energy (MNEL) jumped 15.89 percent to $6.71. Advances led declines 7 to 5 for the day.
