The Andersons add wheat to ethanol mix as cost hedge

In Ohio, The Andersons confirmed that it has commenced mixing soft red winter wheat as a feedstock into its ethanol operations, as a hedge and cost-saver in the wake of rising corn prices. The company operates 300 million gallons of ethanol capacity at three plants in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.
