Biofuels Digest Index falls to 89.34 on global equities downturn

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 1.48 percent to 89.34 as global equities teetered. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 1.71 percent to $30.51, while Biox (BX.T) fell 10.77 percent to $0.58. Among other equities, Novozymes (NZMB) plunged 3.06 percent to $160.20. Overall, declines led advances 7 to 1 for the day.
