Chevy to debut biodiesel version of the popular Cruze

July 27, 2011 |

In Michigan, US car manufacturer Chevrolet announced plans to introduce a diesel version of the Chevrolet Cruze for sales in the US beginning in 2013. Diesel versions of the Cruze are already being sold across Europe under the Opel brand.

Selling the diesel version in the US will give customers the ability to use biodiesel blends in their cars. General Motors expects significant sales from the diesel Cruze as consumers move towards cleaner, more fuel-efficient vehicles that can run on biofuels.
