Inland Oilseeds restarts biodiesel production in Washington state

In Washington state, Inland Empire Oilseeds has restarted its idled 8 MMgy canola-based biodiesel facility in Odessa. Oilseed crushing started up again in June with biodiesel production set to begin in December, with sales of vegetable oil expected in between.

Biodiesel production beyond the end of the year is still up in the air, however, depending on what happens with the renewal of the biodiesel credit.
