Eastern Renewables to invest in sugarcane ethanol in Philippines

In the Philippines, Eastern Renewables plans to invest in a 100,000 liter per day sugarcane ethanol facility in Negros that will require 10,000 hectares of plantation to supply it. The company says it is renewing its interest in sugarcane and molasses-based ethanol. It is already developing a similar sized facility in Isabella.
