OriginOil deploys Operation Green Stick sensor technology for algal growth

In California, OriginOil has developed Operation Green Stick, its network of sensors that will simplify a commercial scale algae biofuel operation by combining algae production with the extraction process. The system monitors the algae growth as well as the dewatering and extraction in seamless real time that the company says makes the whole process more efficient while reducing the risk of an expensive contamination clean-up.
