Biofuels Digest Index recovers to 73.20 as renewables rebound

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, recovered 2.66 percent to 73.20, as most renewables stocks jumped sharply.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 5.20 percent to $27.53, while Solazyme (SZYM) jumped 5.64 percent to $14.80.  Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) plummeted 8.39 percent to $10.59 after Butamax filed suit over alleged patent infringement. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 1 for the day.
