Biodiesel of Las Vegas to restart production

August 18, 2011 |

In Nevada, Biodiesel of Las Vegas plans to begin producing biodiesel again in October after its hiatus since 2008 when the company was forced to shut down due to financial difficulties. The company’s new $65 million, 30 million gallon per year facility is under construction, a project which stalled two years ago.

The company’s parent, New-Com Inc., plans to use B20 in its 1,000+ vehicle fleet among its other businesses while B5 is expected to be blended in Southern Nevada gas stations.
