Ethanol gel for cooking stoves deployed in Kenya

In Kenya, Consumer’s Choice has developed an ethanol gel that uses specialized stoves to replace liquid petroleum stoves for cooking.  The ethanol is derived from molasses, which is then shipped to Tanzania for processing into a yellow, viscous liquid.  The fuel is produced by Moto Poa, and is shipped back to Kenya for final packaging and distribution.
