UK's Vivergo ethanol plant back on track, expects to open in 2012

In the UK, the Vivergo ethanol plant under construction in Saltend that ran into a contract dispute with its engineers is now back on track and expects to come online in 2012. The facility will produce 420 million liters of ethanol and half a million tonnes of animal feed from a million tons of wheat annually, making it the country’s largest biofuel plant.
