Biofuels Digest Index drops to 70.41 on broad equities sell-off

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped sharply 2.36 percent to 70.41 on a broad equities fall.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 1.64 percent to $27.11, while Gevo (GEVO) plunged 8.84 percent to $8.77. Among other equities, Lignol (LEC.V) jumped 14.29 percent to $0.16. Overall, declines led advances 6 to 1 for the day.
