Biofuels Digest Index plunges to 67.23 as global equities dive on recessionary fears

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, tanked 4.85 percent to 67.23 on a broad equities wipeout. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 6.51 percent to $25.41, while Gevo plunged 12.42 percent to $6.63. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) nosedived 14.98 percent to $9.48. Overall, declines led advances 5 to 1 for the day.
