Bayer Cropscience launches four-pillar growth strategy

In Germany, Bayer Cropscience announced their new four pillar growth strategy at their annual press conference.  Sandra E. Peterson, CEO of the company, outlined for key objectives, including: rejuvenating their core Crop Protection business, reinventing customer centricity from seed to shelf, refocusing innovation through increased R&D spending and extending their bioscience business.

Petersen stated, “With our in-depth knowledge of biology, genetics, biochemistry and life science chemistry, Bayer CropScience is well placed to innovate at the interface where chemistry converges with biology.”
