In Florida, Biofuels Digest announced the acquisition of UseCorn.com, an established website delivering news content related to the unlocking higher values in corn as a grains feedstock. The website will provide a feedstock-focused complement to the product focus of Biofuels Digest and Renewable Chemicals Digest, and will provide daily coverage of news from growers, refiners, policymakers, researcher, the financial markets and pundits.

With the acquisition, UseCorn.com co-founder Dave Clark joins the Digest as VP, Sales & Marketing, and will lead the development and deployment of promotional programs for the Digest’s web, newsletter and email marketing partners.

“For food, feed, chemicals or fuel, corn remains one of the most vibrant and valuable platforms for growers and refiners,” said Biofuels Digest editor & publisher Jim Lane. “But every stakeholder is looking to unlock more value, sustainably – and UseCorn will provide us even more room to cover that story. At the same time, Dave Clark will create great value for our promotional partners through programs delivered via our 650,000+ copies per month.”
