Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 68.28 as European banking outlook impvroves

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, jumped 2.77 percent to 68.28 as equities advanced broadly on news from Europe. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) rebounded 2.20 percent to $26.01, while Valero (VLO) soared 6.37 percent to $21.04. Among other equities, Syntroleum (SYNM) skyrocketed 9.52 percent to $0.92. Overall, advances led declines 9 to 2 for the day.
