Guangxi Academy of Sciences, FuturaGene sign cellulosic ethanol pact

In China, Guangxi Academy of Sciences has signed a cooperation agreement with FuturaGene to develop and optimize second generation biofuel production from woody biomass such as eucalyptus with FuturaGene supplying raw material from eucalyptus in the Guangxi region.

The academy will be responsible for identifying the best species for further breeding and for optimizing the biofuel production process.
