US ethanol production jumps in late September to 863K barrels per day

In Washington, the Energy Information Agency is reporting that ethanol production for the week ending Sept. 30 is up 2.6% on the week at 863,000 barrels per day but is dead on even for the same period last year. Corn usage for that week’s production is estimated at 91.93 million bushels.
