Abengoa to invest $70M in Uruguay ethanol project
In Uruguay, Abengoa plans to invest $120 million in a 70 million liter per year ethanol plant in Paysandu department in western Uruguay that will use sorghum, as well as corn, barley and wheat as feedstock.
The facility is expected to come online by the end of 2013 and will include an 8MW co-generation plant.
