Evodos launches small-scale algae centrifuge

In the Netherlands, Evodos has developed a small-scale centrifuge, with a feed flow of 750 liter per hour, the “Type 10” positions itself for processing by research institutions, inoculation processes, small-scale algae operations and testing for algae harvesting and various other mixtures.  The Evodos SPT technology allows high separation effectiveness, a dry solid discharge and minimal energy demand. For example, with SPT algae are totally dewatered and harvested alive with a positive energy balance. The Evodos type 10 comes with an innovative price scheme that allows testing for 4 months at the customers’ own premises for a net cost price of 6.000 euro.
