Biofuels Digest Index advances to 73.84 as Codexis soars

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 0.96 percent to 73.84 as markets recovered from Greek debt panic. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) jumped 2.88 percent to $28.54, while Codexis (CDXS) soared 23.82 percent to $5.51 on strong Q3 revenues. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) fell 20.09 percent to $15.47 after disclosing Q4 production slowdowns in the pace of start-up. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
