Biofuels Digest Index jumps 2.12 percent to 75.66

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, jumped 2.12 percent to 75.66 as Solazyme and Gevo soared. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) recovered 1.57 percent to $29.85, while Solazyme (SZYM) gained 15.47 percent to $10.82.  Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) advanced 6.02 percent to $7.75. Overall, advances led declines 10 to 3 for the day.
