Malaysia biodiesel use predicted to reach 500,000 metric tons per month

In Malaysia, the government expects domestic biodiesel use to reach 500,000 metric tons per month by the end of 2012 thanks to implementation of its B5 blending policy. Reaching that blend will require 7.6 million liters of palm oil biodiesel monthly and will reduce diesel use by almost 91.2 million liters annually.
