Biofuels Digest Index retreats to 73.54 as Italian debt concerns weigh down equities

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 0.57 percent to 73.54 as markets retreated again on Italian debt concerns. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 0.31 percent to $28.88, while The Andersons (ANDE) jumped 8.10 percent to $41.09.  Among other equities, Novozymes (NZMB.OB) dumped 3.76 percent to $147.25. Overall, declines led advances 7 to 5 for the day.
