Universal Adsorbents and Chemicals to invest $10M in renewable chemicals

In Thailand, Universal Adsorbents and Chemicals (UAC) will invest almost $10m in a variety of alternative energy processes including petroleum gasification. The company hopes to develop renewable chemicals for butter production and fat acids after receiving a letter of intent from a foreign company with the intent of negotiating the construction of a separate plant.
