Many EU biodiesel producers facing extinction due to demand drop, low-cost imports

In Belgium, the European Biodiesel Board expects that many European biodiesel producers will go out of business in the next few months as internal market demand slows and imports from cheaper producers continue to take advantage of the market.

The EBB expects the EU will need to impose import barriers at some point in the near future.
