Biofuels Digest Index eases to 70.23 as ethanol sags

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, eased back 0.20 percent to 70.23 as ethanol stocks retreated. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 0.55 percent to $29.06, while Gevo (GEVO) jumped 4.92 percent to $6.19.  Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) dropped 7.26 percent to $1.15. Overall, advances led declines 7 to 6 for the day.
