FHR acquires Nebraska biodiesel plant for $.10 per gallon of capacity

In Nebraska, the Nebraska Bankruptcy Court approved Flint Hills Resources’ $5 million bid for the idled biodiesel plant in Beatrice.  The plant  50 MGy capacity plant was built in 2008, but was never in service.  The acquisition is expected to close in mid-December. Flint Hills Resources expects it will take several months to evaluate the site before determining a path forward.
