Brazilian sugarcane harvest down 17% for year to date

In Brazil, UNICA is reporting that ethanol production was down 16.6% on the year as of the first half of November. The sugarcane crush is down from 23.04 million metric tons during the first half of October to just 18.62 million tons during the first half of November.

That’s down significantly from the 24.39 million tons crushed during the first half of November last year.
