Byogy Renewables seeks $30M for alcohol-to-jet commercialization, certification

In California, Byogy Renewables is seeking $30 million from investors by mid-2012 in order to certify its alcohol-to-jet fuel process with ASTM and move forward with commercialization of its technology. As the company, who has a strategic partnership with Qatar Airways, doesn’t produce the alcohol itself, it will be teaming with sugar and ethanol producers as its moves forward.
