JBIC invests $20M in South Asia Clean Energy Fund

In Japan, the Japan Bank for International Cooperation has committed $20 million to the South Asia Clean Energy Fund.

The fund, which plans to invest in green energy projects across South Asia with a focus in India, will facilitate expertise transfer in clean energy to host country enterprises. SACEF plans to create a corpus of $300 million after receiving a $100 million investment from OPIC.
