Kentucky grants $75K to Ferm Solutions for biofuels R&D expansion

In Kentucky, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority board approved a $75,000 forgivable loan to company Ferm Solutions as it expands its biofuels research facility. The company, which is working on developing fermentation methods to increase ethanol yield in both short and long fermentation cycles. This grant supplements the company’s recent acquisition of a $90,000 grant and partnership with the University of Kentucky as the company expands its staff and facility.
