Biofuels Digest Index drops to 69.69 as first-gen fuels slide

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 1.44 percent to 69.69 as first generation biofuels fizzled. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 1.76 percent to $27.64, while Biox (BX.T) tumbled 6.92 percent to $1.21.  Among other equities, Algae.Tec (AEB.AX) rose 19.57 percent to $0.55. Overall, declines led advances 11 to 3 for the day.
