Biofuels Digest Index slips to 68.53 as global equities tumble

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 1.66 percent to 68.53 as global equities tumbled. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) dropped 1.47 percent to $27.64, while Solazyme (SZYM) downshifted 5.31 percent to $11.05.  Among other equities, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) shed 6.78 percent to $0.55. Overall, declines led advances 11 to 3 for the day.
