Biofuels Digest Index slips to 68.57 as biodiesel sputters

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slipped 0.55 percent to 68.57 as biodiesel sputtered but ethanol recovered. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell  0.93 percent to $27.70, while Biofuel Emergy (BIOF)  soared 27.43 percent to $0.59.  Among other equities, Mission NewEnergy (MNEL) plunged 16.25 percent to $2.01. Overall, advances led declines 5 to 4 for the day.
