Brazil’s government will lend $270m per year for ethanol makers

In Brazil, the government will lend up to $268.64 million (500m reais) per year for ethanol makers to stock biofuel in a measure aimed at securing adequate supplies during the inter-harvest.
The measure, which was announced in April but not yet put into force, guarantees mills will have an annual loan available for storage over the next five years and sets the official sources for the credit.
