EPA’s 2012 RFS requirements are “unrealistic”

In Washington, the EPA has released its final 2012 renewable fuel requirements. The program being implemented requires blending of over 1.25 billion gallons of renewable fuels over the amount mandated for 2011. According to National Petrochemical & Refiners Association president Charles Drevna, “the standard is not achievable, cost-effective, or environmentally realistic.”
