Switzerland extends tax protection for biodiesel

In Switzerland, the government has decided to extend tax advantages for Eco Energie Etoy’s 3,000 metric ton biodiesel plant in Waadt through the end of 2012. The country’s biofuels sector is working to develop sustainability certificates similar to those within the European Union in order to ensure compliance with trade requirements.
