Argentine biodiesel exports rocket up 58% in value in 2011

In Argentina, the value of biodiesel exports shot up to $1.9 billion in 2011, up 58% on the year while volume only rose 18.5% to 1.6 million metric tons. The Argentine Biofuels Chamber CARBIO expects the country’s production capacity will reach 3.2 million tons in 2012, up significantly from 2011’s production of 2.4 million tons.
