South Dakota, American Coalition for Ethanol plan blender pump educational drive

January 11, 2012 |

In South Dakota, the state Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) this week is hosting meetings for petroleum retailers, to introduce the state’s new Ethanol Infrastructure Incentive Grant Program.

The program was created to help station owners defray the cost of installation of ethanol blender pumps, which offer consumers a greater variety of fuel choices, including non-ethanol fuels and higher blends like E15, E30, and E85.

The American Coalition for Ethanol will assist the state in the series of meetings, helping inform marketers of information and opportunities available for blender pumps and mid-level ethanol blends.
