Philippine Agriculture Development and Commercial Corporation to launch new bioenergy push

In the Philippines, the Philippine Agriculture Development and Commercial Corporation is expected to unveil this week two business models for bioenergy that is says are replicable, in an attempt to attract more investment.

The country only produces 39 million liters of the 400 million liters of ethanol it needs, while the government has identified 2 million hectares of arable land for agriculture and bioenergy projects.
