Poor Argentine, Brazilian harvests to pressure US corn prices

In the UK, Barclays Bank says that poor crops in Argentina and Brazil will mean more demand for US corn exports, in turn putting pressure on corn as a feedstock since increased export demand will boost prices and dent ethanol margins. The bank also expects the recent expiry of the VEETC to have a negative effect on ethanol margins.
