Biofuels Digest Index dips to 70.17 despite KIOR, MNEL surge

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dipped 0.56 percent to 71.17 despite a surge by MNEL and KIOR. For the day, BP fell 0.97 percent to $43.77, while Mission NewEnergy (MNEL) rose 12.89 percent to $2.54. Among other equities, KiOR (KIOR) rose 6.74 percent to $9.98. Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
