PNOC to invest in Cavite Biofuels ethanol plant, in Philippines

In the Philippines, the alternative fuels arm of the national oil company PNOC plans to invest in Cavite Biofuels’ 34 million liter per year ethanol facility that should begin construction by June. The investment deal is meant to close by the second quarter.

PNOC previously dropped its jatropha plans and have since earmarked those funds for other alternatives.
