Cal-Bay International seeks 10K tons of feedstock from planned Arizona land deal

January 20, 2012 |

In Nevada, Cal-Bay International is negotiating for the purchase of multiple non-food producing land parcels in Northwest Arizona at a cost of less than $500K for the 400 acre parcels.  Cal-Bay expects that the forest feedstock harvested from the land to yield more than 10,000 tons of dry cellulosic feedstock.

The biomass will be capable of generating in excess of 800,000 gallons of ethanol vehicle fuel a year or in excess of 11,000 megawatts of electricity.
