Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 74.03 as Gevo soars

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, rose 1.00 percent to 74.03 as Gevo and Rentech rallied. For the day, BP gained 0.45 percent to $44.90, while Rentech advanced 5.00 percent to $1.68. Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) jumped 10.48 percent to $8.12. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
