TRI validates wood-waste to biofuels process; commercialization next?

In Washington, a process to convert wood waste and forest residue into renewable fuel has been validated by Energy Department partners at ThermChem Recovery International (TRI). This data will benefit two pulp and paper mills in Wisconsin who will be integrating the gasification and gas-to-liquids technology to produce diesel fuel and paraffin waxes. The next step for TRI is full-scale commercialization.
